Crème brûlée |
3 Egg yolks
35 g Sugar
Mix sugar and egg yolks together.
100 ml milk
200 ml whipped cream
1 Tsp vanilla extract
Add milk, cream and vanilla extract in sauce pan and cook on low heat.
Combine the milk, cream and vanilla extract in a saucepan and cook over low heat. Do not allow the liquid to boil while cooking.
Mix the sugar egg yolk mixture and the cooked milk, cream mixture together and mix well. Pour into serving cups.Place the cups in a deep tray and pour hot water over the sides of the cups, half immersing the cups. Preheat the oven to 160°C.Place the tray inside the oven and leave for 40 minutes.
Remove the cream and place a spoonful of brown sugar on top of the cream.Light the fire with the help of a fire burner so that the sugar becomes dark brown. Place the crème brûlée in the chiller. Serve cold.
